A BBC drama programme about Jim Cartwright's haunting fantasy on old age and death. It is a surreal exploration of life and dreams in an old people's home into which ex-sea Captain Lionel Jeffries is sent. In his dreams, the captain joins the 'sleep club' led by the spiteful 'Bed Head' (Richard E Grant) who himself is the patron saint of insomnia. An interesting state of affairs arises amongst the residents.
